The Great News
This morning was my routine bi-annual checkup, I only see my doctor twice a year now if I'm all well.
I'm super anxious today apart from being quite happy and positive, no pun intended, because I'm waiting to hear how my viral load is after 15 months on med.
In July, here's the numbers so far:
CD4: 303
CD4%: 14.4
VL: 38
But as I was feeling under the weather the day my blood was taken, my doctor ordered another test in Nov.
Here's Nov:
CD4: 303 (no change)
CD4%: 16 (point something I can't recall)
VL: results unavailable yet
I am quite positive that in November my VL could have been suppressed to Undetectable level. Signs and number are looking really good for me and I can't wait to find out what my VL reading was when my blood was taken in Nov.
Sadly, 2 tubes of blood were spoilt as they can't test for my blood sugar and cholesterol levels.
But that's the least of my worries because I am so close to Undetectable in July and I am really, really hopeful that by November, the number should be even lower or below 20!
Praise the Lord!
Are you on Combivir and Stocrin? They do wonder to me even though Stocrin makes me a little dizzy. I hope you are doing very well and healthy physically and emotionally. Merry Xmas and Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteYes I am. Well, for the first year, Stocrin makes my stomach very heaty and I get a little dizzy too (like drunk), that's because of food existence and it gets digested into the blood stream faster, as I consulted both Dr Nurul and Juanah on why is it so.
DeleteBut of late, I find that I don't feel it anymore. In fact I can eat my meals and take my meds right away without feeling anything. Again, I consulted them on why. It's because as the body gets stronger and VL gets suppress, you won't feel the effect any much more.
So I am all good now, I still continue to eat my meals at meal times and continue what I have been doing since meds, keeping fit and healthy physically and mentally. If it worked for me the last one year, it should keep me healthy for many more years to come :)
Cheers to you and merry Christmas and happy new year too!
